Who Am I?

Howdy! I’m Chris, a system and product designer who genuinely enjoys drafting up game design and product requirement docs, drawing and designing mockups, living in spreadsheets, and analyzing data, player sentiment, and the market. I have over 10 years of experience in the games industry working from mobile to AAA and I enjoy the varying challenges each platform provides.

I’m also an avid gamer and try to squeeze in as much time as possible to play the games I love. These days, most of my time is spent touching grass attending local card stores to play the One Piece TCG and Riftbound. But on the days where I stay back with a milk tea and some snacks, I enjoy playing mobile games, roguelites, JRPGs, and any kind of game that allows me to play with friends.

Outside of games, I love to be a creative with physical mediums. I enjoy sculpting, painting, and 3D printing, photography, and cinematography. Additionally, I’m a huge fan and collector of designer toys. I collect statues, Bearbricks, Space Molly’s, Labubus - the typical “hype” stuff. Friends and family joke whenever they come to visit that they feel like they’re in a Japanese toy store.

And the one thing that ties everything together is my love of music. While I’m not musically gifted myself, I love being engrossed in all my passions with some music playing. I’m a fan of all genres from pop, RNB, hip hop, EDM, classical, OSTs, etc. But these days, you’ll find me listening to a ton of KPop!

I’m always looking to meet new friends, so feel free to reach out if you think our interests align or if you ever want to talk shop about design. Cheers!

I’m always looking for the next design challenge! Whether that’s balancing a complex game economy, refining core loops, or just brainstorming the next “sticky” feature. If you’re building something that prioritizes deep engagement and elegant systems, I’d love to hear about it.

Warning: Conversations may deviate into deep dives on spreadsheet optimization and deck-building theory.
